we have some things that a engine shop has so he got them out at work and is waiting on new ones, but i it just seems weird to me , i kw engines there one of the top things i study in, a engine is a engine no matter what it is, its weird that only the exhaust valve guides wood be lose and not the intake side 2, i mean the way these are made on the 750s ud think both sides wood end up the same, they just press in. i dont think it is a comon problem,, if it was a oil issue then both side wood be like that cause the head is flat. but thanks guys, Slow down William, having a hard time figuring out what you are trying to say. Why would it be weird that the exhaust guides would go and not the intake? First of all, Loose valve guides is the wear between the valve and the guide. The wear could be a little of the valves and a little of the guides, they do rub against each other causing friction. The exhaust valves wear faster as there is much more heat than on an intake valve (exhaust hot, intake cold). I was not saying oil was the reason or that it was a common problem just that if it is a problem it should be taken care of while the engine is apart.

im sorry, my coworker was saying its a common problem. what he did get was that all 4 were bad, and didnt know if all of the 750s have exhaust valve problems,
the guy he got it from left the bike sit for a few years, i think the seals dryed and that what made them get damaged
