I was wanting to drop my cb450 down a little in the back after I installed longer cb900f shocks. I didn't want to buy a shock lowering shackles so I decided to throw a CB360 Swingarm in the CB450 frame. The CB360 swingarm has the exact same measurements where it mounts in the frame but is about 2" longer, and the shock mounts are farther back which will bring the bike down a little. GRRRRR, I forgot to measure how tall the 450 was before I started. Here is a picture after the swing arm is removed. Here you can see the differences in the swingarms. I had to grind out where the axle mounts since I will still be using the 450 wheel which has a larger diameter axle. If I would have had a 360 wheel I would not have to grind anything and it would have bolted right in. I still need to find some adjusters from a cb360 and I have to now buy a longer chain but I will post pictures when she is all back together. If anybody has 2 of these they have laying around, let me know. Here it is with the 360 swing arm. I like the new angle of the shocks. The bike can now sit on the center stand without a 3/4" block of wood under it. Before After

That bike is so cool,I really want one of those 450s but the finance dept. wont clear any funds for a new project without depleting the current stock(which Im reluctant to do)at least she is ok with spending a little here and there on the other five bikes.

Kool. So do u plan to keep the misfits badges or will u get Honda badges. Where did u get those btw? They are not misfits skulls, just some I made out of aluminum and spray paint. Not planning on spending the kind of money those original ones sell for. Thanks, now I am going to be singing Misfits songs in my head all night!

Haha I just figured they were misfits skulls because that would be very fitting on a cafe racer. But now that I zoomed In I see that they aren't misfits.

abstruse1, the cb450 and cb360 swing arm pivot measures 7 11/16" (that is not including the bushings, just the actual swingarm)
