I had all of last season recorded then our power went out and we lost all of our recorded shows. I have 3 of this season recorded on u-verse but there is no way to record them to a different media. I tried to find a torrent file of Cafe Racer tv show or even cafe society but I can't find one. You could always buy the magazine. caferacermag.com/

I have 8 issues if you want to see what the mag is like. They sell them at Barnes & Noble but it is a bi monthly so a lot of the time they don't have it in stock. Chris

I'm kinda torn on these shows. While I like to see them, I think they increase the price of admission to the hobby. After Barrett Jackson took off, anyone with a car built before 75 thought they had a gold mine.

I guess I would like to smash Bryan Fuller's face in with a brick and stuff his soul patch up his ass for butchering the 1969 CB750 sand cast. Turning a rare example of "the" bike that brought inline 4's to world into a mediocre cutom .

Did you see the episode where the front wheel bearing seized up and tossed the professional racer to the ground? I watched every episode last year. But idk, I lost interest in it.

Turning a rare example of "the" bike that brought inline 4's to world into a mediocre cutom . I have to agree some because it was a rare bike but it had been repainted and had several miles on it. I am sure it had to be hard to be the original owner and sit there and watch it being cut up but the bike now has a new owner and hopefully it will be used for what it was originally intended for, to be ridden. I think what I hate more than this is to see someone restore a bike then haul it around on a trailer and never ride it again. To me, that is when the brick needs to come out! Motorcycles were made to be ridden, whether it is 100 percent original or a chopped up 69 cb sand cast.

The show blamed a batch of bad bearings but in one of my Iron Horse magazines an editorial was done that mentioned this incident (not by name but described it to a T) and pointed out several poor practices that were done when building the front hub. It was believed by this author / bike builder that it was a misalignment of the bearing cups in the hub which put a side load on the bearing causing it to overheat and fail. (at least that's how I remember it. It's my story so we'll go with it. :-P ) I'll try and find the magazine with the article in it.

I was so worked up about the CB750 that my boyfriend had to tell me to calm down! I dunno.. I just hate to see cafe bikes become the new chopper and thats exactly where it's heading.

I was just saying this the other day....now that fat tire choppers are loosing their popularity due to over-saturation (and probably their high costs) ..seems like cafe bikes are becoming the new trend...I still like them, but there are a lot of god awful ones being built that are more form than function

I didn't think about it before but you're both right about the cafe turning into the new chopper... My own personal opinion on donor bikes, if a bike is a basket case go ahead and cut it up anyway you like but if it's a pristine example of the model or just needs a few minor repairs to be said bike come on... There are plenty of neglected bikes to butcher...
