It all depends because the switch could be bad but still have a good spot in it. I would double check your wiring with the stock wiring diagram. That's what I had to do with mine

Don't give up! We need to just go step by step and rule out everything. You say that the lights work when the charger is on the bike but don't work when you take the charger off? That seems strange to me. Where at on the south east side?

If you hook up your battery tender/charger and lights come on, but when the bike is running without tender no lights, sounds possibly like a ground issue. Odd that it would work that way but I could not think of anything else that would cause that problem. My old triumphs have a 4th ignition possition for auxiliary, which is just light.

The first time I went to start it up was when I had lights with the charger on. That one time was it. I live in Franklin Township off of Five Points rd.

Keeping my fingers crossed! I have power to both lights. Both were blown. Now just have to figure what caused them to blow.

Did that fuse block work or did you just have to replace the bulbs

I would definitely keep that online fuse in mind. Since you got it going again you should come out friday night.
