If anyone needs blasting work done I do this on the side for extra income and as a hobby. I have a setup of an 80 gal. 2 stage compressor and a bigger than average size blasting cabinet. Running black beauty extra fine sand at the moment but can switch out to crushed walnut for those softer metals. I bag all finished parts with silica packets to keep moisture off the part & these materials I get for free so they are free.

Right on man, just let me kno when and I'll throw you my address and phone. Also just wondering is it a steel frame and steel parts? I'm only asking because anything aluminum I have to get some more crushed walnut to blast with because the other sand will beat the the aluminum up too much, and will have to order from IDS blasting on the east side but they should have it in stock.

Getting some pieces done from him right now. So far so good. I was hanging out and watching the progress but my parents needed me to pick up my boys and bring my brothers truck back so I'll just be waiting to pick up the parts. Fun and cool guy who I'll bring more projects to for his business

Going to be getting that crushed Walnut here sometime in the next month, I was debating on getting one of two other kinds of other blasting media which were Sodium Bicarbonate (blasting grade baking soda) or Aluminum Oxide, but of all the research I have done walnut seems to come out on top over all for aluminum and other soft metals. I think I will end up blasting my whole engine with it just from what I read lol. Cleans, polishes and removes ALL unwanted impurities. Seems to come at a decent price too.

Sweet. I will be needing some engine blading as well as wheel hubs and thrilled tree parts. A few aluminum pieces here and there

Just got some crushed walnut today, got some other things I needed on the blaster like a new plexiglass window since the old one was too cloudy lol. Probably sometime this week I will be switching out the media and changing the plexiglass & then giving the walnut a test run on my mufflers and see how well they turn out.

Yo EP, how much would you charge to clean up a set of BMW exhaust pipes currently black and rusty?

$20 or I am in need of Kawasaki parts on trade lol, on the exhaust do you plan on spraying a high temp header paint, high temp powder coat, re-chrome, ceramic coat, rusting it, or wrapping it? Just wondering so I know which media to use.

Well that's a darn good question - I haven't quite decided yet although I am leaning toward just painting them black again.
Sorry, no Kaw parts but I have a bunch of Honda CB750 stuff if you can use any of that.

Well, I will blast it for $20, I am available to do it Friday evening or about any time this weekend, shouldn't take any more than a few hours. I already have the blaster up and ready to go, just blasted a AR-15 gun rail for someone that didn't like the color turn out they painted it.
