I think it is more fun to ride it up.
Can't wait on going, had fun last year and excited for this year.

i agree, and prefer riding over being trailer trash. my other bike is built for long rides and i ride it all over the country but the bobber is a rigid frame not to mention a bit unreliable.
hope to see you up there. i'm staying at the ohio house. you?

Heart O' Chicago, 2 miles from the venue. Long hot day and drinking suds, after that I am not up for a long ride to battle downtown travel.
I have asked many who would be interested in going to the "crem de'la crem" of the vintage shows and not many are interested in having a fun time at venue that is so close to our city(Chicago). But these are the same people who raise an eyebrow if you haven't read "Cafe Racer" magazine from front to back or seen an episode of the same name. To get them interested in going to this icon venue, I struggle to see their lack of interest. I don't understand how you can live and breath an cultural lifestyle as the 'Garage Built Lifestyle' but not venture to one of the best vintage shows this country(my opinion) has to offer. I can understand if you been before, it something I feel you do once at least. It won't break the bank either. But the Goodtimes will roll on. -My humble opinion

That's a an awful big assumption, that none of us are going... maybe we already have plans and aren't willing to change them. Or maybe none of us are trailering our bikes to Chicago. Or maybe we were planning on going but we cracked the frame on our rigid bob and it's puking oil everywhere because we ride the slut rain or shine all over gods green earth and we're a little bitter about not making the show this year... idk... maybe... imo.

Sorry, Novafrk. As I stated in 'my friends' circle the interest of going, never did I say in or on this vintage page that people were not going. Just saying people I know in 'my circle of friends'.

My bad, I interpreted your post as an open statement not limited to a circle of friends. Carry on.

Ha fucking triumph riders! For the record I've never saw an episode of cafe racer TV or read the mag. I was however in the first episode of season 1 from what I'm told. That may be half my detest for them, since I was woke up hung over at mid-Ohio to be taped riding my bike years ago. That and I’m not a big fan of Mr. Seate. Bastard told me years ago they were going to come to Indy and film us but it’s always next year when I see him. Well I’ll buy your stupid magazine next year buddy! Any way you should hear me when I start talking about my broken home.
Champipple I may be able to get your bike up there for a fee. I’ll know more by this weekend. It depends on how some things play out and space available.

Ah, this weekend can't come soon enough. Already been stocking up on cigarettes(chicago's notorious price gouging). Anyone else able to go this weekend?

Bigger bands then ours, rarer bikes than ours. Fun to hand out with my out of town buddies. Eh...

Shane, there was a party everywhere you went. You go somewhere and you had fun talking or partying with everyone where you went. I was drinking a 40 ounce of Corona and taking shots with people from New Jersey in the middle of the parking lot. Such a blast! Can't wait for next year or Rockers Reunion here. Party+bikes go hand in hand.

Hell, even Chico went! I will be there again next year. So much fun.
Wish there was another somewhat large Vintage show close to Indy this year. We need another vintage show in Indy I say around September. I really enjoy going to these and we need more. The big shows worthwhile going to in the midwest are only a month apart(IMO).
