Quite a few of us having been hanging out in Ripple at The Mineshaft Saloon(across from Fat Dan's) Thursday nights for $1 beer night. Seems to be picking up steam with someone new every week. No, we don't ride during the winter, but hangout and talk Vintage bikes. We all have the 'Garage Built Lifestyle' attitude, with no egos. We welcome everyone and their ideas. Sure enough if you are looking for help with a problem, there are eager volunteers to assist. We usually get together every Thursday(especially in winter) from 9-11pm(most of us work in the morning) and I am sure at some point someone will buy you a beer. Our motto; "We Love Old $h!t." Come join us!

It is supposed to be 80 degrees on Thursday October 25th. Let's meet up and have a good time to celebrate the season. Brockway Pub in Carmel isn't too far to get to from Ripple. They have a great turnout of Vintage bikes and great beer on tap. This honestly is a great bike night that everyone needs to enjoy once this year. Then before 9pm, take a ride to Ripple together to the Mineshaft for $1 beer night and talk more about Vintage bikes. You will more than likely have a alot of fun and easily make some friends for the winter. Come join us!

In case if anyone doesn't know, the Brockway Pub has the old "Ace Cafe London" theme and really good beer on tap. I guarantee there will be plenty of Triumph's and Vintage to occupy your time with a beer. Worth the time to check out.

I've been to that place once for "european bike night yrs ago. Didn't really fit in.
Now if I didn't fit in....Chico ha ha ha ha.
The real prob for me is Carmel is such a haul and no fun way to get there on a 40+ yr old Trump.

European bike night is somewhat still there but mostly gone. Most importantly the pretentious ducati guys faded away. With that void, vintage bikes of all kinds have taken their place to park their bikes and the humble down to earth riders enjoy their seats at the tables/bar.

Sorry but I have to LOL because i'm on a Ducati but not one of the pretentious ducati guys you refered to. I went maybe twice on a thursday night up there and was totally snubbed by the other Ducati riders I said screw that I need them. I guess I'm a outcast cause I'm not riding what they are riding or whatever. To me a bike is a bike no matter the money you have in it. Its the love for what your riding and the love of riding not how fast or the how much you payed for it. I have to say the non Ducati riders I did meet up there are great. So if you see a 61 yr old man on a red ducati 800ss thats me and not one of the pretentious ducati guys. ;D

F1- I apologize, let me clarify 'the pretentious ducati guys'. Obviously you are not them and very much agree with your state of mind. As I spoke about the 'humble down to earth riders' that enjoy riding whatever you have and the friends you make with whatever they have. 'The pretentious elitist ducati guys' have to have the fastest, shiniest, brand new overpriced gear and all hangout in a ducati-clan group. Then they frown down upon that my wife and I buy what bikes we can afford and wearing whatever we want to these meets. You get more friends and riding buddies being positive than negative. Not all Ducati owners are elitists and I agree with you. You are always welcome to sit down with us as anyone would be.

Hey thats ok I don't have anything to do with any of them I always wanted a Ducati and yes I keep it like new but I'm not even close to acting the way they do cause I have one. I love the bike for what it is and the history behind Ducati. I was just at Steer In couple weeks ago, my bike and 2 1098's and neither of the guys on the 98's even said a word to me when I got off. But I'm old skool and rust is cool, they wouldnt think so or like my 41 plymouth rat truck i'm building, no sandpaper will ever touch it. You guys are cool and it's great you started this fourm.
