Thanks for posting. Saw this earlier today and entered. What the hell....an excuse to ride to the other side of town. Dreyer South also has a NC700X in stock supposedly and I'm kind of curious about them....so I can see one while I'm there. Of course, it'll probably rain.

No, that is my winter project. My name is Chad. It was suppose to be a summer project, but you know how that goes.

I saw it one time a long time ago and took a ride to find it this summer. Cool building it's it. Kind or an art deco design. Almost like something you might find along route 66. You should ride your 750 down to the show in the morning Gordon.

I'm going to have to check that out. I love old buildings like that. I was planning on going to that Dreyer show but there is a big Mopar event out at IRP that I'm going to hit up. My Dart needs some parts. I don't know what the problem is lately but it seems like any event I want to attend there are three others on the same weekend..... someone needs to space these things out The good guys event is also this weekend @ IMS. There are a lot of show cars in town (especially on the west side) and we just had a hell of a hail storm. Hopefully they found some cover...

Oh I know....that hail was crazy. I had just gotten home with a motorcycle on the trailer behind the car. Got home with just enough time to get the bike in the garage, the trailer off, and the car backed into the carport. The hail came down just as I pulled in....had to wait it out under the carport with a plastic roof overhead....that was a bit unnerving.
Yeah I'd hate to be caught out in that with a show car! Yikes!

his other buddy Chris picked up a cj360 i think. the little brother of the cb750 super sport. Yup. It's in nice shape. Has some grime that needs cleaned off from sitting for a while, but runs well and starts first or second kick. Original paint in good shape. neat bike. The engine's a bit noisy.....think it just needs the cam chain and valves adjusted, though. Not real familiar with the sound of the twin, so it may just be my ears. BTW, the bike show was lame. There were 15ish bikes there, but only 3 owners present including myself. I think some people just dropped their bikes off and left. Some of the bikes didn't have plates and we suspect the dealership just had them in the back and pushed them out to the lot to make it a bigger group. 2 o'clock and I left. Nobody came out to say if anyone won or anything. Lame. I did get to meet a classy guy from down around Bloomington who rode in on a '68 R60. Beautiful bike that he got from his dad and continues to ride. Also hung around with Rick (who lives a block away from me)...he rode in on his mid-80s Interceptor. Nice to meet you Chad (cjrenick). Get that CL done this winter and let's go ride!

I hit that show. It wasn't quite worth the trip, and agreed on the comment about Dreyer placing some bikes out there. I took my son and at least he got an autograph from former Pacer Rik Smits who we saw respond on the IMG site to be going.
